Southern Legend (George)

Southern Legend is a striking coming four year old black/dark bay warmblood gelding that I need to sell. He is around 16 hands tall and still growing. His mother is 16.2 hands and his dad is 17 hands. He was born July 3 2008 by Thoroughbred mare. He is out of Legend (a Dutch Warmblood) and a grandson of Rampal (Rampal has been awarded the prestigious Crown predicate by the KWPN. This award was granted for being ranked as one of the top 200 dressage horses in the world. Rampal is by the world famous stallion Ramiro Z out of the preferent, Prestatie mare Terika. They both have an amazing list of famous offspring in their lines. Rampal is one of the top sires of dressage horses as well as jumpers and hunters. Although Rampal is no longer withus, he is remembered as a notable Dressage Grand Prix champion. He had 14 Grand Prix wins including the Royal Dressage Festival-CDI and the USET Festival of Champions.)

Southern Legend is registered with the American Warmblood Society and was ranked as "Preferred"when he was only a yearling. He is extremely athletic and is a tremendous mover. His mother was a fantastic hunter/jumper that I successfully showed on the California Orange County circuit and in the ISHA/WCISHA circuit in college. He would be great for someone who wants an outstanding sport horse that can take them to the highest levels at show.

He has had four months of professional training and is ready for you to take him in whatever direction you would like to go.
